A good camp site level ground owner very friendly and helpfull and a pub The Farmers Arms about 500 yards away
Fantastic rural site, in a great location. We have just returned from a short touring holiday here, Perfect for touring.Owner Trevor was a great guy, he kindly took time to recommend the best places to visit with the kids and places to eat and drink out.We run out of time to do what we had planned. The local pub, with in walking distance the farmers Arms, served us a great meal reasonably priced good quality pub food.We all loved it, Kids loved Rambo the freindly chicken. & farmer rounding the cows up in field opposite. If you are after a site with electric, but no toilets or showers (which we preferred as use our own in the caravan). In a great location, with a lovely owner, and a great local pub you can walk too.At a very reasonable price, you can't go wrong here.We will plan to visit again soon!
Simple site with E/H & water in gorgeous rural location, close to working farms. Lovely pub within 5 mins walk. Must have own toilet facilities within your unit, cash payments only.
Just spent 3 nights at this lovely, basic, campsite. The owner, Trevor, was very friendly, informative and accommodating. Due to the conditions being so wet he used his 4x4 to tow us onto the site but by the time we went to leave it had dried sufficiently that we could get out ourselves without damaging the grass. Much better than another campsite in Gloucestershire which was refusing all twin axles because of the wet conditions. We loved the rural outlook, the chickens that mooched around, the sheep wandering along the roads and the lambs and calves in the neighbouring fields. It is set in an active rural community so there were tractors and farm vehicles using the roads but we didn't find this intrusive and it was very interesting to watch the goings on. We didn't get to the pub (5 min walk down the road) so will make sure that we visit it next time. It is the first time we have stayed at a campsite without toilets and showers and we were a little worried about how we would cope but it worked out absolutely fine and we'd have no problems camping like this again. We came back relaxed and refreshed and would certainly recommend this site.
As a Certified Location, the site was private, well off the road. The owner was very helpful, ensuring we were settled quickly. His wife dropped in to make sure all was well, and that we had everything sorted. Within walking distance of a lovely pub, and the Malvern Hills.
