Stayed here for two nights with friends. We were greeted by a jobsworth who managed to stress us out before we had even parked our Camper. Our friends were an hour behind us stuck in motorway traffic. We had booked AND FULLY PAID for both pitches but the sullen, rude warden seemed to delight in telling us they could not guarantee adjoining pitches . He also took great delight in telling us that the rules of the Camping and Caravan club have been in place for 50 years and they was no chance of them changing. What an unpleasant 'welcome'. Not only shall we never use this site again but we are considering leaving the Club for one that is moving with the times and delights in making their visitors feel both welcome and relaxed. Such a pity.
Haven't stayed here - yet - but it looks very nice especially in its autumnal colours. Stayed here for a night later in the week - beautifully quiet and peaceful. All the public areas are spotlessly clean. Will definitely be coming here again.
Nice clean tidy site with a dog walk around the perimeter. Toilets and showers lovely and clean. Wardens friendly and helpful. Useful room for get togethers or small functions.
Clean and tidy site with nice dog walk. Indoor washing up facilities and club room-not been inside that though. Good shower and toilet block. Would recommend.
This is an excellent club site The wardens are so friendly and helpful.The site is immaculate and clean. We were there for four nights and even though busy, it never felt crowded. Lovely big pitches with the choice of fully open or shaded.Great for dogs with a good dog walk and about a 20 minute walk along a good footpath yo the local village where there's a post office/grocery (closed Sat pm and all day Sun) and the Swan Inn with a lovely restaurant. The site shop is good for essentials and ice cream.
